Purpose of the Role:
The Call Center Agent is to make phone calls on behalf of the company to potential customers particularly to make sales, collect or share some data that includes surveys, telemarketing or verifications to achieve set financial objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
Financials
- Achievement of pay-outs
Sales and Marketing
- Mining database by interacting by phone with the customers to solicit loan sales.
- Obtaining possible customer leads and conducting follow up on first point of contact
- Implement targeted sales campaigns
- Sales and marketing initiatives to improve “online” service
- Delivering prepared sales scripts to persuade potential customers or clients to purchase the company products
- Describing products, responding to questions, and obtaining customer information
Customer Service
- Taking proper care that outbound calls do not disturb, annoy, or offend customers
- Ensuring customer satisfaction when rendering services
- Maintaining customer confidentiality
Operational Efficiency
- Able to detect and prevent fraud
- Accuracy and detail in explanation of loan requirements needed
- Efficient communication with colleagues for uniformity of products and procedures within the company
Requirements Knowledge and Experience Required of Job Holder:
- Diploma in any field
- Telesales experience.
- Good keyboard skills and impressive telephone etiquette
- Speak English and Setswana
