A job vacancy has arisen within the Operations Department of Letshego Bank Namibia for the above-mentioned position, the details of the role are outlined below:
Purpose of the Job:
The Quality Assurance clerk in the Quality Assurance department is responsible to ensure that Loan Vetting and Approval is done accurately and in a timely manner.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Enhancing Customer Experience
Ensure that documents related to loan applications are correct and agree with the supporting documents obtained on a daily basis to ensure timeous approval of loans
Ensure there’s is an Active APS reservation for each loan application processed
Liaise with NDMS and outside branches as well as Sales staff on errors applications in timely manner
Attend to telephone enquiries from clients.
2. Operational Risk
Ensure that the affordability checks for clients meet the standard as per Credit Policy and Legal requirements.
3. Business Process Enhance / Process Innovation
Participate in the continuous assessment and improvement of business processes, moving towards ‘Automated processes’ (eForms, eReports)
4. Business Continuity Management
Understand and participate in the action plan implemented to meet the company Health and Safety strategies and action plans aimed at mitigating the health and safety risk within the company.
5. People Management
Responsible for own personal development.
Participate in annual performance reviews as per the agreed timeframes/deadlines.

Minimum Job requirements:
Must have grade 12 with minimum 25 points
Must have at least one year work experience
Must be PC Literate
Must have excellent communication skills, attention to details and be able to multitask.
