Purpose of the job
The Agent Relationship Manager is a strong support function in the strategy of Namibia to diversify into Non-Government lending and customer solutions for service our expanding agent network in Namibia .The manager be willing to work closely with all Direct Sales Agents and to provide support with their daily operational functions between LBN and LMFSN and drive non-Government lending and our conversion strategy of rolling out banking services to our existing customers through our Agency footprint. The manager will be a direct link to identify training needs and roll out of our campaigns and communication to our agent network to have solution knowledge shared on a regular basis. The manager will have to assist in data analytics to support traction of sale targets on agent performance targets and push performance against these targets through to the agent network. The manager be a key resource for activation of marketing and strategic direction with impact to the business support from the CEO office to the network of agents.
 
Key accountabilities:
• Building and maintaining relationships with Customer and key personnel within private companies i.e. HR functions (informal sector) and APS (Formal sector)
• Conducting business reviews to ensure Customers are satisfied with their solutions and services.
• Alerting the sales team to opportunities for further sales within key Customers.
• Assist in research of competitor offerings in the private sector and other micro lending entities to ensure competitive pricing and solutions on offer to protect and retain our customer base.
• Attending meetings and support existing relationship partners to build relationships and expand existing relationships to expand new business in the roll out of our comprehensive solution offering include LBN and specific focus on our conversion strategy of existing borrowing customers become deposit account holders in LBN.
• Achieving client relationship targets and Key deliverables as set by the business development managers.
• Working closely with Operations Department and Sales Consultants and measure effectiveness with Letshego Bank Namibia in providing cross selling opportunities between LMFSN and LBN.
• Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by Customers immediately.
• Monitoring company performance against service level agreements and flagging potential issues and track solutions to resolve.
• Updating the CRM and ensuring account managers are aware of changes within Customers risk portfolios.
• Passing leads to the sales team and drive status updates to follow up on the progress.
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively.
 
Knowledge and experience required
• Grade 12 (25 points) as a minimum and Degree in Business Administration will be an added advantage
• 2 years’ experience at a Managerial level in sales and Marketing
• At least 7 years working experience and customer facing will be an added advantage
• Strong Excel skills and data analytic capabilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
• Previous sales experience and an organised approach to work.
• Hardworking with a strong work ethic. Computer literacy
• Fluent in English (speak and writing)
• No criminal record
