Junior Business Analyst (JBA) Operations Automation & Optimization

The role of Jnr BA Operations Automation & Optimization is a Group-Wide role responsible for:
1.)Contribute through the undertaking of tasks and activities which assist and support the Group Operations Manager / Snr Business Analyst including documenting requirements and or processes to supporting the development and implementation of operational initiaitives 
2.)Document operational processes (Process Maps), Procedures and working with the Snr Business Analyst and Operations Manager to develop standardization of processes and procedures across the Group.
3.)Documentation and development of costs benefit analysis to support business solutions. 

This role is a Group-Wide role that interfaces into each country Operational area as well as coordinating at Group level through the other Group Shared Service Departments with emphasis on:

1.Business Process Management and Improvement
Support key Group projects in developing operational processes, procedures and controls in line with project timeline and budget
Contribute to the development and implementation of operations automation and optimization initiatives ensuring business and operational objectives are aligned and achieved.
Support the development and implementation of business process improvement initiatives at Group level 
Support implementation of standard policy and procedures and communicating the same across the organization as appropriate
Contribute to improving efficiency, productivity, reducing cost to serve, cycle times and ensure operational risk is effectively managed
2.Project execution:
Support Operational requirements to ensure that Project / Continuous Improvement initiatives are completed within agreed timelines and budget.
Support Project Business Analysts in all business and operational project related tasks.
3.Risk, Governance & Compliance:
Ensure Internal Control Frameworks, Access Control is implemented to ensure appropriate segregation of duties and or where agreed mitigating controls are in place.
Understands and comply with all Operations policy and procedures and ensure that these adhere to the highest level of controls.

Business Degree
Conversant with MS Office packages such project, Visio, excel
Knowledge of Front and Back Office banking operations
Process mapping skills
Business analysis skills
Ability to communicate both written and orally with all levels of the Group (including subsidiaries)
Strong relationship-building, interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels 
Strongly analytical with a strong eye for detail
