A job vacancy has arisen within the Human Capital Department of Letshego Bank Namibia for the above-mentioned position, the details of the role are outlined below:
Purpose of the Job:
To deliver a wide range of Human Resources advisory, consultation and administrative service, and advice in relation to the equitable application of Letshego terms and conditions of employment and ensure and general welfare of staff.
Key Accountabilities include:
1) Provides advisory and consultancy service to staff and management on a range of HR related policies, processes and procedures.
2) Advises employees on the interpretation and application of relevant policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
3) Ensures systems and other HR tools like ESS/VIP are running and information updated timeously when the need arises.
4) Prepares HR Report on a monthly basis and submit timeously to HR Head.
5) Effectively provides the following Human Resources functions: Recruitment, Payroll management, Employee Onboarding, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Employment Equity, Employee Relations, and Exit Interviews.
6) Checks and verifies the work of the Human Resources Assistant: Payroll and Benefits
7) Responsibility for Wellness across the business.
8) Ensure exit interviews and clearance procedures are done.
Knowledge and Experience Required of Job Holder:
1) Grade 12 with 25 points & a relevant HR diploma or University Degree.
2) A minimum of four years’ experience in Human Resources Development and Management.
3) Deep understanding of the role of Human Resources in delivering business goals and objectives.
4) Proven team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5) Ability to build relationships with the internal and external stakeholders.
6) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
7) Highly computer literate in excel, word, power point etc.
Additional Requirement:
1) Must have knowledge of the Namibian Labour Act and other employment related acts
2) Exposure to payroll formulae and reports.
3) Attention to detail, meticulous and ability to execute tasks in agreed time frames.
4) Code BE drivers’ licence is a requirement.
5) Willingness to work odd hours if and when required.
