Job vacancy have risen within Letshego Holdings Limited,

Purpose of the Job:

To provide strategic direction by developing and implementing reward management strategies and frameworks across the business.

 

Key Accountabilities: 

 

  1. Develops and manage the company's reward strategy in support of the organisational objectives.
  2. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with all key stakeholders and partners to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
  3. Interprets and integrates the reward needs for the organization to develop the reward framework aligned to the business.
  4. Identifies, adopts, and manages the implementation of the reward industry best practice directives by guiding and directing the business to ensure the application.
  5. Interprets the reward legislative requirements and corporate governance requirements to mitigate risks.
  6. Manages the development, monitoring, and evaluation of reward systems, processes, policies, and procedures.
  7. Develops and manage the remuneration structures that enable the attraction and retention of talent across Letshego Operations.
  8. Develops and recommend a strategy for the bargaining unit wage mandate.
  9. Build and maintain vendor relationships with 3rd party rewards management consultants
  10. Leverage technology to allow for a more seamless reward management

 

 Knowledge and Experience Required of Job Holder:

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management / Organizational Psychology or equivalent
  2. An MBA would be an added advantage At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in HR positions and a minimum of 4 years’ experience at senior management level.
  3. Experience Implementation of the Reward strategy and frameworks
  4. Experience in reward legislative requirements and corporate governanceStrong knowledge of HR policies, processes, and tools.
  5. Strong working knowledge of labour laws and practices.
  6. General knowledge of Expat tax and payroll-related issues
  7. Strong knowledge of organizational design, operating model design, and span of control principles.
  8. Good understanding of Agile and Lean principle
  9. Understanding of employment law, recruitment and selection, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  10. Advanced knowledge of Reward management, wage negotiations, and management of remuneration policy, principles, and practices.
  11. Proven ability to lead management of strategic Reward issue
  12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  13. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  14. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  15. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  16. Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential materials
