Group Head of Reward Management
Job vacancy have risen within Letshego Holdings Limited,
Purpose of the Job:
To provide strategic direction by developing and implementing reward management strategies and frameworks across the business.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develops and manage the company's reward strategy in support of the organisational objectives.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with all key stakeholders and partners to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
- Interprets and integrates the reward needs for the organization to develop the reward framework aligned to the business.
- Identifies, adopts, and manages the implementation of the reward industry best practice directives by guiding and directing the business to ensure the application.
- Interprets the reward legislative requirements and corporate governance requirements to mitigate risks.
- Manages the development, monitoring, and evaluation of reward systems, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Develops and manage the remuneration structures that enable the attraction and retention of talent across Letshego Operations.
- Develops and recommend a strategy for the bargaining unit wage mandate.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships with 3rd party rewards management consultants
- Leverage technology to allow for a more seamless reward management
Knowledge and Experience Required of Job Holder:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management / Organizational Psychology or equivalent
- An MBA would be an added advantage At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in HR positions and a minimum of 4 years’ experience at senior management level.
- Experience Implementation of the Reward strategy and frameworks
- Experience in reward legislative requirements and corporate governanceStrong knowledge of HR policies, processes, and tools.
- Strong working knowledge of labour laws and practices.
- General knowledge of Expat tax and payroll-related issues
- Strong knowledge of organizational design, operating model design, and span of control principles.
- Good understanding of Agile and Lean principle
- Understanding of employment law, recruitment and selection, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
- Advanced knowledge of Reward management, wage negotiations, and management of remuneration policy, principles, and practices.
- Proven ability to lead management of strategic Reward issue
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential materials
